That’s great, because I love to talk about what a great team I have!
I’m Rachel Everett, and four years ago I was managing contracts and contractors for a consulting firm. I’d been doing that for a while, and I loved both the industry and the job…but I wished I could control who worked on my project teams. I wanted total control so I could have total quality.
In 2007, I decided to throw caution to the winds and just go for it. I left the ranks of the employed to become the employer. I founded Viderity on the belief that it really is possible to under-promise and over-deliver. Five years of doing just that has proven me right.
My aim was then, as it is now, to recruit only the best contractors. I sift our candidates with a fine-toothed comb. Before any one of them ever sees a project, you can be sure I’ve gone through a truly rigorous review of their past work and skills.
These are the cream of the crop. I pay them well, and I keep overheads down so you still get a good deal.
But that’s not enough. I know from experience that even the most skilled staff will fail to meet your expectations if they aren’t emotionally invested in their work. So I don’t just require candidates to be great at what they do. They have to demonstrate a genuine passion for the web and for technology. That way, when we’re all working for you—reading, sharing and implementing tech ideas—we’re not working. We’re having fun. And that keeps us on the cutting edge (as well as on friendly terms!)
In short, when you work with us you’re not working with a “solutions provider” or a “staffing company”. You’re working with a close-knit team of people who love doing what you need them to do, and are the best at doing it. So why not find out more about that?
